SCHOOL LUNCH HERO WEEK – April 29th through May 3rd is School Lunch Hero Week. Please make time throughout the week to thank our Arbor Kitchen staff and our Lunch Assistants for providing us with wonderful meals each day and making our cafeteria an enjoyable place to spend our lunch hours. 

RMS DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT - Attention all students! The RMS Dodgeball Tournament will be held on Wednesday, May 1st at 6pm, so get your teams together now! Each team should consist of 6-10 players. Team registration packets are available in the office and are due by April 26th. 

RMS BAND/CHOIR CONCERT – The RMS Band and Choir Spring Concert will be held on Thursday, May 9th beginning at 6:30pm in the James A. Wiltz Auditorium at Dixon High School. 

RMS YEARBOOKS - We are excited to distribute the 2024 RMS Yearbook on May 24th. We have a limited number of yearbooks still available for purchase. Once they are gone, they are gone. Don’t delay. We anticipate they will all sell out. If you would still like to purchase your student a yearbook, you can do so at, www.jostens.com or you may purchase one at school as well. Please have your student see Mrs. Wilson in room 210 for an order form.  

SWAP 2024 - SWAP applications are now being accepted for summer 2024 work.  SWAP stands for Student Worker Assistance Program and allows students to help pay for some of their athletic fees by working various maintenance and custodial jobs throughout the district, during the summer months.  SWAP is a voluntary program, offered to any Dixon Public School student who will be in grades 9-12 during the 2024-2025 school year. Applications can be found in any of the DHS offices, in the RMS main office, or at https://www.dps170.org/o/dhs There is a mandatory meeting this Wednesday, May 1st at 6pm in the Dixon High School cafeteria for students planning to work SWAP this summer. 

AWARDS ASSEMBLIES – 4th quarter Awards Assemblies have been scheduled for the following dates/times. 8th Grade will be at 8:00am on Friday, May 24th in the Madison Gymnasium. On Wednesday, May 29th, the 6th Grade Assembly will be held at 8:30am and the 7th Grade Assembly will follow at 9:30am in the RMS Gymnasium.
