The RMS Builders Club and Student Council also recently sponsored a Season of Giving Donation Drive for the Dixon Food Pantry. Thanks to the generosity of our students and staff, we collected an incredible number of donations! A special shoutout to Mrs. Kitzman’s WIN class for leading the way with an amazing 96 items donated!
The RMS Builders Club members traded the classroom for the North Pole, volunteering as Santa’s elves at Discover Dixon’s Santa at the Cabin event last week. They had so much fun spreading smiles and holiday cheer everywhere!

It's the Season of Giving! - The Reagan Middle School Student Council is collecting items for the Dixon Food Pantry. Below, you will see a list of items to donate. All items should be given to your WIN teacher by Friday, December 12th. The WIN class with the most donations will earn treats. This is a great opportunity for you to help others during this season of giving! Items Needed for the Dixon Food Pantry: Peanut Butter, Canned Soup, Canned Fruit, Canned Vegetables, Canned Beans, Pasta, Rice, Cereal, or Any nonperishable or canned food.

VFW PATRIOTS PEN ESSAY CONTEST
Congratulations to 8th grade student, Ayden Arnold, who was selected as the winner of the VFW Patriots Pen Essay contest. On Thursday, December 11th at 7pm, the VFW will present him with a check for $100 and he’ll read his essay aloud. Way to go!!!
GIRLS' BASKETBALL PRACTICE
7th Grade - The first practice will be December 15 in Reagan Gym 5:00 to 6:45PM
6th Grade – Practice starts Monday, December 15th. We will practice Mon, Wed, and Th in the Madison gym from 3:10-4:45. A January schedule will be handed out at the first practice.
FOOD DRIVE
It's the Season of Giving! - The Reagan Middle School Student Council is collecting items for the Dixon Food Pantry. Below, you will see a list of items to donate. All items should be given to your WIN teacher by Friday, December 12th. The WIN class with the most donations will earn treats. This is a great opportunity for you to help others during this season of giving! Items Needed for the Dixon Food Pantry: Peanut Butter, Canned Soup, Canned Fruit, Canned Vegetables, Canned Beans, Pasta, Rice, Cereal, or Any nonperishable or canned food.
FCA DRIVE
FCA is gathering supplies to donate to people in need. If you would like to contribute, we are gathering baby items to give to new moms through the Lee County Health Department and also small treats to give to residents in our nursing homes. Donations can be brought to Mrs. Gasso's, Mrs. Lind's, or Mr. Ferguson's room.
WINTER SPORTS SIGN UP
Registration is now open for RMS Girls Basketball and RMS Wrestling. Register online at https://schools.snap.app/DixonHS. Current sports physicals are due before the first practice, and the $50 athletic fee is due before the first contest. More information to follow but get registered today!
