RMS School Pictures
Grot Imaging will be taking school pictures on Wednesday, September 9th and Thursday, September 10th in the RMS gymnasium.
Staff pictures will be from 7:00-7:45 each morning.
In-person student pictures will be taken during their PE classes each day
Remote students may come and have their pictures take from 1:30-2:30 each day. Students will enter through Door 9 after having their temperature taken. Students will need to keep their mask on inside the building until ready to have their picture taken.
Kids will stand so no cleaning will be necessary. Photographers will ask the name of the student, have them take their mask off and picture will be taken. When finished, students will grab an envelope off a table to take home.
Envelopes will need to be returned to the Reagan office for ordering.

For Remote Students Only: All Dixon Public Schools are closed on Monday due to Labor Day. Remote Only Students can pick up their breakfast/lunch on Tuesday, Sept. 8th from 9-10 am. Food for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday can be picked up on Wednesday, Sept. 9th from 9-10 am

Remote Students Only: You will pickup your breakfast/lunch at the building you designated on the survey.

Remote Learning Expectations:
Non-Negotiables -
• All remote students will need a laptop
• Student participation is REQUIRED
• Students will check in by Noon each day
• Check in by logging into your Advisory class on CANVAS.
• Work is not required to be completed by Noon, please just log on for attendance purpose.
• All teachers will communicate their daily office hours to parents and students
• All expected work will be graded and used to determine if promotion requirements have been met
Instruction and Assessment
• Assignments can be completed when convenient for the student
• Be aware of due dates on “Week at a Glance” available on each CANVAS course.
• Students will be enrolled into a schedule as if they were in-person
• Video lessons and activities will be uploaded to CANVAS by subject area teachers
• Teachers will continue to provide instruction based on the Illinois Learning Standards
• Students with an IEP will have a Remote Learning plan outlining off site expectations
• Teachers may communicate via CANVAS, Zoom, Email, and/or phone calls
• All assessments will be completed during Remote days
• Teachers will have office hours and Zoom hours listed on their Canvas page..
Friday
• Weekly grades will be updated in Lumen by Noon.
• Live Zooms will be scheduled. Times and Zoom links will be listed on Canvas.
• Allows for discussion and activities for A, B, and Remote students together.
• Allows a check-in with your teacher to answer any questions you may have.
Lumen/Parent Portal - Please login to view student schedule. In-person students will proceed to ADVISORY class to begin each day.
Starting the Day - All students will enter DOOR 8, wearing a mask, after having temperature taken. Staff will be visible in halls to get everyone to where they need to be, safely, and with a smile.
Technology - Chromebooks for our 1:1 initiative will arrive in the next 2-4 weeks. Students electing to go Remote Only will have access to lease a device to use at home. Group A/B students who do not have a reliable computer at home, will be handed paper materials from their teachers if they need it for work on remote days until school issued devices arrive. Those students who have technology at home, may complete all work via Canvas.
