It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I share news of the death of an 8th grade student at Reagan Middle School and a freshman student at Dixon High School as a result of a car accident on Saturday. We are deeply saddened by this loss and extend our heartfelt condolences to their families. We know that a student’s passing is a difficult experience for family, friends, staff, and community. The District will have counselors on hand this week at all buildings to support DPS #170 students and staff. Please feel free to contact our school counselors if you need help.

RMS Track practice location for this afternoon (4/7) is being moved to RMS from 4:00pm-5:30pm due to potential inclement weather. Please enter at Door 6 near the cafeteria.
RMS Track will be starting this Tuesday @ the DHS track @4pm. Please register on 8to18 ahead of time. Hope to see you there!!!

8th Grade Art Club
Calling all 8th graders who took art during the first quarter! Due to COVID related date and schedule changes and everyone getting acclimated to the new school year, all first quarter art classes were not able to design and complete their 8th grade ceiling tile. If you would like to still paint your very own ceiling tile to proudly display in the halls of RMS- THIS IS YOUR CHANCE! Please email jtaylor@dps170.org to secure your spot in the afterschool art club.
